My Backend Engineering Diary Begins Here

Hey Guyyyss (you are going to be hearing this a lot β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜‚)

Welcome to Backend Engineering Chronicles (yh Engineering sounds right πŸ™‚β€β†”οΈ), so now that I have announced the name, what should you be expecting right?

  • Backend engineering principles β€” explained simply and practically.

  • Django insights β€” what I struggled with and how I solved it.

  • Software engineering principles β€” testing, monitoring, clean code, and more.

  • Code + storytelling β€” real problems, real fixes (and yes, this will be fun πŸ€πŸ˜‚).

  • Backend reflection notes β€” short, honest lessons from my week/month.

You were probably expecting me to announce this on the first of the month 🌚, but why wait until the first of the month before launching? Even though I have heard that starting a goal on the first of the month helps you achieve it, I don't really agree with that. Start now. No delay.

The main goal of this account is to serve as my dump for all the things I am learning in my career journey πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ. I can't always rely on ChatGPT to give me the answers to what I forget everytime, that's why I want this to be my open diary, yh I know I said open diary because I don't know who's going to learn from a closed diary so I am sharing it here for everyone to read, learn and grow with me ✨️☺️.

So yasssss, welcome to the very first article of Backend Engineering Chronicles

If you’re into backend stuff, stick around. Drop a comment: what backend problem confuses you the most right now? I might make my next article about it 🌚.

Congrats on starting your journey towards learning and documenting everything you learn in backend engineering πŸŽ‰ I'm on a similar journey, though in data analysis and not particularly the backend, but it's good to know there are others like me who are starting out and using hashnode to document their learnings. Let's keep learning and growing πŸ™Œ
